Positioning & Measurement Stream

The Positioning and Measurement Professional Stream represents the surveying and spatial professions in matters of New Zealand's positioning system.

What we do:

• Support member's continuing professional development in geodetic measurement and positioning within New Zealand
• Monitor technical developments that impact on positioning in New Zealand, and communicating these to members
• Represent the profession in interactions with local and central government agencies with responsibilities for managing the positioning (geodetic) system in New Zealand to ensure it meets the needs of the profession and the interests of the public
• Provide a forum for members to discuss matters relating to positioning and measurement.
