LINZ Data Service webinar

An introduction to the data available, features and benefits of using the LINZ Data Service.

Launched in 2011, the LINZ Data Service (LDS) data.linz.govt.nz provides free and open access to over 40 of LINZ and New Zealands geospatial datasets that can be used to create new and improved products, services and insights across business, government and the community. Provided under a New Zealand Creative Commons license, you can use, reuse and share LINZ data from the LINZ Data Service as much as you like.

Datasets freely available through the service include New Zealand topographic, hydrographic, survey, title, street address, geodetic, crown pastoral land and aerial imagery datasets.

The webinar will demonstrate how you can find, select and download the data you need for the area youre working in and in the format you need. Youll then be briefly shown some of the other services that are offered through the LINZ Data Service, such as web services; change-set services; and the courier service.
