I think everyone in the spatial industry is now familiar, at some level, with the utilization of unmanned aerial vehicles to capture images for photogrammetry.
What I find as a consultant, is that there is still a wide misunderstanding of the technology, processing requirements, software available, PC requirements and efficient creation of accurate deliverables.
I would like to step through what I believe is important on a hardware and software front, demonstrating a methodology to minimize field time along with efficient processing workflows from capture to deliverable.
This webinar will utilize the TD4Sight UAV from Sci Aero, Pix 4D Mapper aerial triangulation software and 3D Reshaper meshing from Technodigit, however the methodologies discussed can be applied across any UAV platform or processing package to a varying extent.
Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss this new UAV technology from capture to deliverable, gaining a good understanding of all the hardware and processes required for accurate mapping results.
