Andrew Burrell - Laser Scanning, UAV and Monitoring Specialist

Completing my degree in spatial science while surveying on large construction sites around Australia, I moved to a sales role in 2007. Whilst always selling the quality brand, Leica Geosystems, my initial role was total stations and GNSS throughout Victoria and Tasmania.

In 2010 I began focussing on laser scanners and mobile mapping products mainly due to a real passion for the technology and what it could offer the industry. After seeing a large growth in Australia over the years in the technology as well as the customer base, I relocated home to NZ with a young family to continue selling laser scanning solutions for Global Survey.

Whilst there have been many impressive releases over the years, 2017 has me more excited than ever. With the comprehensive P30 and P40 continuing to prove they have the highest quality of survey grade data on the market, the release of the exciting new entry level BLK360 and a whole host of software advancements Leica Geosystems and Global Survey have truly an exciting story to continue with its existing and new HDS clients alike.
