The South African Cadastral System

Genevieve Abrey recently moved from Cape Town South Africa, where she was working as a Professional Advisor and Survey Examiner for the Surveyor-General of the Western Cape, to Wellington New Zealand where she is working for LINZ as a Senior Survey Advisor for the Surveyor-General. She will be sharing what she has learnt so far with regards to the differences in survey terminology, Surveyor-General structures, survey lodgements, title registration, field surveys, survey plans and survey regulations amongst other things.
