We are looking for a cadastral surveyor with broad experience in the survey and property development sector to contribute to our significant programme of work. A strong understanding of the cadastral survey system and its records is essential, along with solid analytical and reasoning skills.
You will be joining a close-knit team that provides expert advice on the cadastral survey system with a focus on statutory aspects. Senior Survey Advisors are involved in monitoring compliance, assessing dispensation requests, investigating survey anomalies, providing guidance to surveyors, and contributing to the further development of the survey system (eg. through the Advance Survey and Titles Services programme).
Your excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively will enable you to build strong relationships within the team, across Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), and with stakeholders. You will be passionate about using your expertise to solve problems and help contribute to the development of the digital cadastral survey system and related systems for managing property data.
