About the job
Following the resignation of Jeff Needham, a longstanding member and previous Chair, a vacancy has arisen on the Ethics Committee.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the profession in a rewarding voluntary role that is vital for maintaining public confidence in, and the integrity of the surveying and spatial professions. Council would like to broaden the experience and diversity on the Ethics Committee and is particularly keen to include representation from the spatial sector.
The Ethics Committee is a Committee of Council responsible for promoting ethical and professional conduct and undertakes the first stage of investigations of complaints of breaches of the Code of Conduct by S+SNZ. The vacancy arises at a particularly exciting time as the Ethics Committee is working through a number of initiatives promoting and cultivating good ethics practice across the organisation.
To apply, please send your CV along with a one-paragraph summary setting out your interest in the position to Malcolm Hanrahan (Chair of the Ethics Committee) email@example.com. If you would like to first discuss this opportunity please contact Malcolm on mob 021 222 9553.
