2018 Awards Announced and Four Members Honoured as Fellows
This year, four well-deserving members were successfully voted as Fellows of S+SNZ by their peers. Announced at the AGM in Wellington on 15 November, the new Fellows are Vicki Nalder of Blenheim, Bruce McFadgen and Michael Morris of Wellington and former President, Mark Allan of Christchurch. Vicki also has the additional honour of being the first female Fellow to be nominated
The young professionals who received awards this year included: Sarah Duggan of Wellington, who is the recipient of both this year's Bogle Young Surveyor of the Year and the State Sector Award; David Shearer of Blenheim and Campbell Hills, of Cromwell
Who shared the Maurice Crompton-Smith prize for the best set of projects for the Professional Entrance Exam and Ella Dangerfield of Wellington, winner of the Percy Dyett award as best overall Land Development candidate in the Professional Entrance Exams.
