Andrew Perry

Andrew completed a Bachelor of Surveying with Distinction in 2004, graduating in May 2005 from the University of Otago. He is a Principal within Aurecon and leads the Land Infrastructure and Geospatial teams in Tauranga, working primarily in the Land Development sector for a range of clients throughout Aotearoa. Andrew is a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor, holding this qualification since 2008.

Andrew has been heavily involved with S+SNZ throughout his career, being a student member while at university before becoming an Associate member in January 2005, and Voting member in December 2008 . Andrew was part of the Wellington Branch Exec from 2006-2008 and was a founding member of the NZIS Young Surveyors Group when it was established in 2005, leading in his role as president from 2008-2011.

After moving to Tauranga in 2011, Andrew has been an exec member of the Rotorua/BOP Branch, and was appointed as Branch Chair in 2017, a position which he held through to early 2021. In January 2020 Andrew was elected onto the S+SNZ Council as a general Councillor serving two years before being elected as the Vice President. At the November 2022 AGM Andrew was elected as the President of S+SNZ.
