2022 Conference - Calling for Abstracts, Speakers and Papers

The Survey and Spatial NZ conference is being held 1-3 August 2022 at the Novotel Lakeside, Rotorua. The annual conference is the biggest CPD event of the year for surveying and spatial professionals. It invites sharing of knowledge amongst peers, bringing together networking opportunities for all delegates and is an essential event for your professional development and connectivity to the sector.

The call for abstracts, speakers and papers is now open.

This is an opportunity for all S+SNZ members and related professionals to present their valued work at the conference.

The theme ‘Turning Up The Heat’ is timely with the choice of Rotorua as a conference location. We will aim to discuss challenges in regional areas, which include climate change and developments outside of Auckland. We welcome presentations related to the broad theme and we are looking forward to your participation.
Please submit:

  • Title of Presentation - consider a short descriptive title.
  • Summary of Presentation - (around 300 words) used to invite the audience to the presentation. Consider explaining what will be learned from attending your presentation and why delegates should attend.

Submission of paper proposals close 5pm, 9 March 2022 - to participate, please submit your material to Events Manager, Jenny Houdalakis jenny@surveyspatialnz.org.
