Survey Equipment and methods to meet accuracy standards for Cadastral Surveying

1 CPD Point

In recent years there have been incredible advances in survey equipment. While advances in technology have made accurate measurements easier to obtain, anecdotal evidence and LINZ field audits suggest that a significant number of recent surveys do not comply with the required accuracy standards.

GNSS measurements, in particular, have come under increasing scrutiny in terms of their reliability. This seminar will discuss accuracies with the aim of identifying potential problem areas and providing techniques to increase confidence. While GNSS will be the main focus area, techniques for other types of modern equipment will also be considered.

Presented by Bruce Robinson of Global Survey, Alex Liggett - Fox & Associates, Patrick Cooper - Ex Practitioner, LINZ and Andrew Blackman from IDC Group.
