2023 Kairūri Community Trust Scholarship Announced

Congratulations to Samuel Thompson who is the recipient 2023 Kairūri Community Trust Stirling Scholarship for 2023. Sam is a fourth-year student at Otago University studying a Bachelor of Surveying with honours.

The scholarship included a $2500 cash prize plus support to attend the Annual Survey and Spatial NZ conference held in Dunedin in early September.

At the conference Sam got the opportunity to share his wonderful submission titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Surveying and Spatial Industry”. Read Sam's thought provoking winning essay here.
