LINZ Exception Process | Session 1 [Webinar]

The LINZ Spatial and Requests Team will be presenting the first in a series of webinars regarding the Exception Process. This webinar aims to facilitate education and discussion relating to the use of the Landonline Exception Process (‘the process’) which has been in operation for over 10 years.

There are many survey firms that make use of the process to overcome Landonline topology and geometry issues that occur during the dataset creation process. One of the aims of this webinar is to assist firms to make the most efficient use of the process by clarifying intent and discussing the various examples that can occur. Another aim is to introduce the concept of pro-active and reactive exception requests and explain how the process maybe more widely used to sort Landonline data issues. We will cover the various types of requests that we see and provide guidance around the use of the request.

Attendees will be shown the latest support information available on the LINZ website and also have the opportunity to submit questions during the session.

This webinar is aimed at surveyors and users of Landonline who create survey datasets.
